In the Old Delhi district, the underground Jama Masjid station opened on 28 May 2017 on the Violet Line, which ends at Kashmere Gate. DMRC lists it simply among its underground stations, without a description of its own.

The neighbours are close: Lal Quila is under two minutes away and Delhi Gate just over two. Its four gates are signed with the names of the places they lead to: two of them carry the names of Jama Masjid and Lal Quila, the places this station and its neighbour are named after.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
